Geothermal Pipe Installation
Mole Excavating can install pipes for Ground source
heat exchanger pumps that utilise geothermal energy.
All different methods of installation can be quoted and catered
for, from horizontally laid pipes to a new method that is yet to be introduced to the channel islands that needs comparatively little
in the way of surface area to work and is also a more efficient system than vertical bores that may not have been drilled
deep enough or been thoroughly filled with grout for an efficient heat transfer, the pipes are also seperated so you dont
get a mutual influence from other pipes, where they could all be cooling the ground as they are too close together, reducing
their efficiency further.
A Geothermal setup that hasnt been drilled deep enough, grouted properly or have
enough bores will quickly use up all the heat energy within the drilled area and the customer will see a reduction in heat
values within a few years after installation and the initial set up cost/investment would need to be repeated.
Other
methods for reducing surface disturbace can also be catered for, horizontal pipes can have a minimal trench cut of only 6"
wide to save on ruining a lawn and adding cost for landscapers laying turf and reinstatement.
